    BUCHAREST CITY-BREAK
Booked as an entity or pre/post tour (country tours available in any season and region)

People say lots of things about Bucharest. Some of them not so nice. We live here and know better. And we invite you to discover for yourself the truth and the magic of the city which used to be known as Little Paris. We would rather call it “Little big”, as it looks little compared to other capitals but, once you are here, big things reveal.

    Bucharest is:
the city of Enescu Festival, one of the biggest classical music events of Europe, held every two years
the place where Henri Coanda was born. Henri Coanda is the inventor of the jet plane. On the December 14th, 1910 he performed the first jet propelled flight in the world, with a plane he himself built, powered by a jet propulsion motor. He discovered the so called "Coanda effect" back in 1934 and this breakthrough has numerous practical applications in diverse fields.
home to the biggest building in Europe, Parliament Palace
→the city where the only recorded concert of Michael Jackson was held
→place where some of the best anti ageing therapies of Ana Aslan are applied
the city of 2 million people and 2 million cars
→the place where you can see a 300 year old church near a steel-and-glass building
city of the Triumphal Arch, similar to the one in Paris
home to the Romanian Athenaeum, one of the most beautiful and famous classical music venues in Europe
place where over 270 original peasant houses were reassembled (at the Village Museum)
home to Romania's largest recording labels
the first city in Southeastern Europe to host the international Cow Parade
home to exceptional actors such as Marcel Iures or Maia Morgenstern
and yes, there is much more to it !
