Itinerary:
Day 1: Transfer airport Bucharest - Brasov (180 km). Accommodation in a pension Brasov. Dinner and overnight in Brasov.

Day 2: Breakfast. Transfer to Zarnesti town (35 km). We start our first day of mountainbiking with Zarnesti - Sambata de Sus village (64 km on asphalt - easy to medium). Lunch to go. Accommodation and dinner.

Day 3: Breakfast. Transfer to Cartisoara Village (60 km). The second day of mountainbiking on Transfagarasan road (50 km on asphalt - hard, only climbing); built as a strategic military route, The Transfagarasan (trans + Fagaras) or DN7C is the highest and most dramatic paved road in Romania. It runs North to South across the tallest sections of the Carpathian Mountains, between the highest peak in the country, Moldoveanu, and the second highest, Negoiu. The road connects the historic regions of Transylvania and Wallachia, and the cities of Sibiu and Pitesti. The road climbs to 2,034 meters altitude. The most spectacular route is from the North. It is a winding road, dotted with steep hairpin turns, long S-curves, and sharp descents. The Transfagarasan is both an attraction and a challenge for hikers, cyclists, drivers and motorcycle enthusiasts alike. Due to the topography, the average speed is around 40 km/h. The road also provides access to Balea Lake and Balea Waterfall. Lunch to go. Accommodation and dinner at Balea Lac Chalet.

Day 4: Breakfast. Third day of mountainbiking - it is the day of downhill ! Balea Lac Chalet - Cartisoara village (50 km - medium, only down). Transfer to Sibiu city - the European Capital of Culture in 2007. Lunch in the city center. Sibiu old city center biking tour. Transfer to Biertan village - one of the first German settlements in Transylvania. Accommodation. Dinner.

Day 5: Breakfast. Fourth day of mountainbiking around the valleys of Biertan village. Countryside biking tour (about 40-50 km, easy to medium). Accommodation. Dinner.

Day 6: Breakfast. Fifth day of biking: Biertan - Sighisoara (27 km, easy to medium). Sighisoara: Central Sighişoara has preserved in an exemplary way the features of a small medieval fortified city, it has been listed by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Each year, a Medieval Festival takes place in the old citadel in July. Lunch in Sighisoara. Sighisoara old city center biking tour. Transfer Sighisoara - Brasov. Accommodation. Dinner.

Day 7: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport Otopeni.
